Blackberry Bold

After a few weeks in which RIM and in particular its new model Blackberry 9000 have been in the spotlight, the Canadian company has officially announced the Blackberry Bold with their first specifications.

As already known has HSDPA connectivity so that the browsing speed will be improved compared to current models with GPRS and EDGE, this must be added the WiFi connection, but of little use in a mobile phone and a Blackberry least that already has Internet flat rate.

The screen has good resolution, namely 480 × 320 pixels and as we have come RIM QWERTY keyboard is present. The internal memory is 128 MB and are accompanied with a memory card of 1 GB but in this model we can use SDHC cards up to 16GB.

In the multimedia section find a camera with flash and two megaíxeles video and audio player compatible with MP3, WMA, AAC, and WMV3 DivX4 and the new BlackBerry Media Sync to synchronize the audio files from iTunes. The GPS receiver is also present as in the latest models of the Curve.

Remember also that the Blackberry Bold incorporates the new Blackberry OS 4.6 operating system and editing software Documents to Go that lets you edit Office files.

Finally, measuring 114 x 66 x 13 mm and a range of 5 hours talk time and 13 days standby.

The Blackberry Bold will go on sale during the summer, its price has not yet been announced but could be around 300 €.
